This software application looks like a perfect fit for any learner!

Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at anytime, from anywhere.

It works as a web browser application and/or can be installed on your Windows or Apple Macintosh computer as a standalone program. I especially like the ability to take a photograph with my phone of something I want to remember  and send it directly to my web version of Evernote. Both the web version and the standalone version sync up so that no matter where you are, you always have access to your notes no matter how you created them!

Searchme is a new search engine that is still in its beta test period. It provides search results as full pages that can be browsed by scrolling through them. Much easier to just try it out, as opposed to describing it ;-)

If you are familiar with CoverFlow on the Apple Macintosh platform, this search engine may be just the ticket for you!

Classroom 2.0 is a professional learning community targeting K-12 education. It’s members are made up of educators all over the world. This community is built on a web application called Ning. This is a very good example of a web based social networking tool designed, in this case, for learning and education.
